About SPLIT

Built by an operator, for operators.

No manifesto. Just the honest story of why this table exists, told simply enough to read in five minutes.

SPLIT was built on one uncomfortable observation: India does not have a shortage of founders. It has a shortage of people willing to sit on the founder's side of the table.

A real photograph goes here. Not a stock smile, the actual founder at the actual table.

The founder

SPLIT is run by Paras Mani. Before this, he spent years inside consumer businesses doing the unglamorous work: product that had to ship, shelves that had to be won, unit economics that had to survive contact with reality. He was never the loudest person in the room. He was the one still in the room at 2 a.m.

Working draft. This biography is placeholder copy and will be replaced with the final version.

Lorem ipsum in spirit, honest in shape: this section will carry the specifics of his operating history, the companies he helped build, the categories he knows cold, and the scars that taught him what actually kills early companies. Until those details are locked, we would rather show you a marked draft than dress up filler as fact.

He builds operators, not audiences.

Why SPLIT exists

Most early-stage capital in India arrives with a term sheet and leaves with a board seat. The founder gets money, a logo on a slide, and a quarterly call. What they actually needed was a second pair of hands: someone to build the brand, structure the raise, and fight for shelf space beside them.

So we made the deal we wished existed. A ₹1.5 crore cheque, a 20% minority stake, and a team that co-founds with you for real. You keep 80%. You stay CEO. We win only when you do, which is exactly how it should be.

How we work

  • One cohort, ten founders. Small enough that everyone gets the team's full weight. Large enough that the room compounds.
  • Same terms for every seat. No side deals, no special handshakes. The table is honest or it is nothing.
  • Open to all across India. No pedigree filter, no city filter, no warm-intro tax. The pitch is free and read by humans.

If you want the proof rather than the philosophy, the portfolio shows what we build and our work shows how we build it. And if you are done reading about tables, pull up a chair.
